Do Star Trek Transporters… Murder You?

In case you find yourself out of topic, I suggest that you first read this page: https://www.startrekphysics.com/2018/07/do-star-trek-transporters-kill-you.html

The question remains, that before the body is transported, while it is being scanned, its being destroyed at molecular level, and the the reverse process is done in the destination. So how is it that the same person, with all its personality traits, memories and emotions, emerges from the experience? My theory goes as follows: — Considering the body as just and only hardware, it can be destroyed and rebuild countless times. Let’s add the hypothesis that each body, produces a deeper level of information, a specific frequency, one that changes with time, but is always unique to each individual. Now take the leap to see our SELF, SOUL, however you choose to call it, as NOT IN THE BODY, but only connected to it, by that very same frequency, that our body produces. In Rupert Sheldrake’s theory, this is called the Morphogenetic Field, that is (my view) connected to the body by the brain, acting as the receiver along with all its other functions, in fact, I would go further and say that the entire nervous system, especially along the spine column is also a part of the receiving system. Being so, as soon as the body is reproduced to its tiniest detail, the connection is reactivated and the transported individual is exactly what it was before the process.

Obviously, this raises question on immorality, since the body can, at least in theory, be remade after the information about its specifics is stored. However, I think the frequency changes with time/age, and is eventually lost, thus remaining in the “ethereal realm” only. However, I might be wrong.
